The ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival is still the world's largest platform for poetry films. It will be presented in two cities in 2018 - Berlin and Münster. The Berliner Festival will take place from December 6-8, 2018 at the cinema of the Kulturbrauerei (Berlin).

At this year's first ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival  66 international films competed in Münster at the end of September. In addition some selected films will also be shown in Berlin. The festival also presents a selection of poetry films of the latest generation from the Hochschule Düsseldorf - HSD and the Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln. A colloquium on the state of poetry film in Germany using the example of North Rhine-Westphalia complements the program. With a silent film program, the pioneers of the poetry film, such as Man Ray, are honored. Another focus is on Russian films. Poets from Russia present their latest works in readings. On three days, the House of Poetry at the cinema KulturBrauerei will present a Berliner poetry festival selection with the two new topics Berlin and Russia.
