The Staff of “La Poesia Che Si Vede” Poetry Film Festival is pleased to let you know that submissions for our 2025 International Competition for Poetry Films are now open.

La Poesia che si vede is an international competition for poetry films based in Ancona, Italy. It is the product of the collaboration between two important festivals: La Punta della Lingua International Poetry Festival and Dorico International Film Festival. The first edition of La Poesia che si vede was held in July 2021. Its fifth edition will take place by the end of June 2025.

The International Competition for Poetry Films is dedicated to poetry short films produced from all over the world. From kinetic text to sound text, from visual text to cine-poetry, up to the filmed performance, poetry film for La Poesia che si vede is total poetry, without discrimination of genre or format.

Only films completed after the 1st of January 2021 will be admitted. The total running time must not exceed 20 minutes and all films must be subtitled in Italian or in English. 
The winner of the competition will receive a prize of € 500,00. Films can also compete for the Audience Award.

Therefore we invite you to submit your films to this year’s competition.
