The poetry film " Der Conny ihr Pony" by Robert Pohle and Martin Hentze is a term student work, that was created in 2008 under the supervision of Prof. Uli Kühnle and Karl Schikora at Burg Giebichenstein, Kunsthochschule Halle. The theme was "interactive implementation of a text". The text was written by Gabriel Vetter. The film won over ten awards throughout Germany and was nominated for the German Film Award in the category best animated film in 2009. Among other prizes, the film was awarded the 2010 main prize in the ZEBRA Poetry Film Festival Berlin.
Gabriel Vetter was born in 1983 in Schaffhausen, Switzerland, and is considered an exceptional phenomenon in the literary scene. He initially studied law in Basel and theater studies in Bern. Both studies were canceled with "success and joy". In 2004, he won the German Poetry Slam Championships with 21 years. For his program "Tourette de Suisse" Gabriel Vetter was the youngest winner ever to receive the prestigious "Salzburger Stier" radio cabaret prize. In 2007, Gabriel Vetter became the German-speaking poetry slam champion again: with the poets' collective SMAAT, he won the big team finale in Berlin's Admiralspalast. In addition to his stage work and journalistic works (Tages-Anzeiger, Annabelle, Basler Zeitung), Gabriel Vetter also wrote regular columns. In the 2012/2013 season, Gabriel Vetter was a play writer at the Theater Basel. The premiere of the play "Der Park" (directed by Simon Solberg) was premiered in April 2013 at the Schauspielhaus Basel. https://www.facebook.com/gabriel.vetter/
