Tom Speers is born in Dublin. He spent his teenage years as the camera guy in a gang of skateboarders, railroading his friends into performing skits (instead of actually skating).Tom studied philosophy at Trinity College before setting his sights on filmmaking. Demonstrating an authentic lyrical style, a natural ability for casting and a keen eye for beautiful photography, Tom’s debut short, ‘Boy Saint’ has already gathered a handful of awards at festivals internationally and has seen him shortlisted for a YDA at the Cannes Lions 2018 and the New Director of the Year at the Shots Awards 2018.
Peter LaBerge grew up in Connecticut, and currently lives in Redwood City, California. He is the author of the poetry chapbooks Makeshift Cathedral (YesYes Books), and Hook (Sibling Rivalry Press), In 2017, Peter graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied English and Consumer Psychology. He is the editor-in-chief of the Adroit Journal, a global literary publication he founded as a high school sophomore in November 2010. He has been recognized from TED to Teen Vogue for his work as a writer, editor, and publisher. His work has appeared in Beloit Poetry Journal, Best New Poets, Colorado Review, Crazyhorse, Harvard Review, Indiana Review, Iowa Review, Kenyon Review Online, Pleiades, Sixth Finch, Tin House, and others. He edited Poets on Growth (Math Paper Press) with poet Talin Tahajian, and received a fellowship from the Bucknell University Stadler Center for Poetry.
